There is light at the end of the tunnel. Today, Dutch media is reporting that organizers of Tomorrowland are working on a postponement plan which would aim to have the event held this year at the end of August or early September.
Last week, (as reported by HLN News), The Consultation Committee of various local governments decided that citizens can be outside with 10 people and that the catering industry could re-open. These latest announcements have sparked a flame in the minds of Tomorrowland organizers, as they are now currently looking into the possibility of having the annual event in late August or early September. According to HLN News, all the appropriate applications have been submitted and there are ongoing conversations being held by stakeholders in regards to Tomorrowland’s postponement plan. Organizers are currently in communication with local suppliers, hotels, and other partners to figure out logistical issues. Whether or not Tomorrowland will occur this year is unclear, but what is clear is that they are trying their best to make it happen.
The final decision will likely be made in the coming weeks if not months as local governments have previously stated that there will be more clarity in regards to festivals sometime in mid-March.
We will provide you with more information as this story progresses.
