Tomorrowland Music Launches ‘RISE’ Compilation Series

Tomorrowland has launched RISE, a new compilation series spotlighting “under-the-radar and emerging artists.”

Arriving today on the festival giant’s Tomorrowland Music label, the series’ first installment, RISE VA (Vol. 1), features six tracks from a multi-genre collection of burgeoning dance music talents, including Vidojean x Oliver Loenn, Layla Benitez & MotherEarth, Tigerblind, KILL SCRIPT, Olympe, and Spada.

Online friends-turned-real-life afro house collaborators Vidojean and Oliver Loenn have delivered the compilation album’s lead track with “Alameyo,” followed by “Usion” from Club Space Miami resident Layla Benitez and melodic techno producer MotherEarth.

“‘Usion’ is an auditory journey through the realms of illusion,” MotherEarth said in a press release. “With a powerful melodic drop that ignites the senses. The break melody sounds a bit like a classical piano piece, tying everything together nicely.”

RISE VA (Vol. 1) continues with additional melodic sensibilities from recent CamelPhat collaborators Tigerblind and KILL SCRIPT on their respective tracks, “Raided” and “Gravity” featuring Linney.

Italian melodic techno producer Olympe has dropped off “I Don’t Wanna Talk” on Tomorrowland Music’s new RISE compilation, after landing on Afterlife’s Realm of Consciousness Pt. VI compilation late last year.

Finally, Italian-born, Prague-based DJ and producer Spada’s “Reset” brings RISE VA (Vol. 1) to a close. The deep house artist, who has released on Diynamic Music, Anjunabeats, and more, has earned support from esteemed artists like Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, and Nora En Pure, among others.

Tomorrowland One World Radio host Adam K will highlight the six tracks from RISE VA (Vol. 1) during his Friday afternoon show on the festival’s official radio station, where they’ll be played continually in the weeks to come.
