One World Radio Celebrates 5th Anniversary With Special “Year Mix” Programming

Tomorrowland’s One World Radio is celebrating its fifth anniversary this weekend with a remarkable programming run, showcasing music from each year of the radio station’s existence.

Starting today, February 14, listeners worldwide can tune in to five days of on-air celebrations, in which One World Radio will play 5,000 total tracks across five different “year mixes”—an average of 50 tracks per hour.

Each mix will encompass “one musical year of One World Radio,” with new mixes shared daily in the build-up to a final anniversary broadcast on Sunday, February 18.

Adding to the birthday excitement, One World Radio is also allowing listeners to win 50 prizes, including five passes to Tomorrowland Belgium 2024, Tomorrowland flags, Tomorrowland store vouchers, and sticker packs.

For a chance at these festival goodies, fans can log in to Tomorrowland’s official website and upload an original birthday wish for One World Radio. The One World Radio team will then review each submission and notify the winners.

Since its founding in 2019, One World Radio has broadcast more than 2.5 million minutes–nearly 44,000 hours–of unique live music, including tunes from acclaimed resident DJs like Alok, Armin van Buuren, Vintage Culture, Laidback Luke, and more.

The radio outlet has amassed a global following of over 10 million YouTube subscribers and 1.3 million unique monthly listeners from more than 130 countries–each of whom clocks an average listening time of 45 minutes.

In addition to being available from anywhere in the world online, One World Radio broadcasts have been syndicated on public airwaves in nine countries, including FM stations in Ibiza, Romania, and Mallorca, and DAB+ stations in Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK, Switzerland, Malta, and Romania.

Tune in to One World Radio’s fifth-anniversary celebration at Tomorrowland.com and send your birthday wishes here.
