Tomorrowland has just launched its Online Tomorrowland DJ and Producing Academy, a new virtual education platform for electronic music artists.
For a €15 monthly membership fee, the platform gives both beginner and advanced DJs and producers “the chance to take their career to the next level,” with a variety of videos and courses on DJing and music production from artists like Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Andromedik and more.
In addition to these in-depth DJ and producer courses, students can receive monthly credits to download tools, samples and project files, register for livestreams and Q&A sessions with Tomorrowland artists, join DJ and remix competitions, and submit demos for live feedback on their work.
Each month, the academy’s Student Spotlight will share the work of one student from the academy community, giving rising artists the opportunity to be discovered.
Beyond the monthly membership, students can also purchase exclusive masterclasses from even more renowned DJs and producers, including “The Future of Creative DJing” by Laidback Luke, “The Art of Creating a Live Set” by Agents of Time, and “DJing Explained From Flagship to Home Setup” by James Hype.
The Online Tomorrowland DJ and Producing Academy is an extension of the existing physical Tomorrowland Academy, the brand’s DJ and producer school for both kids and adults, with locations in Antwerp and Hasselt, Belgium.
The Tomorrowland Academy will honor its origins as an in-person event at Tomorrowland Belgium with several kids and adult DJ boot camps in the run-up to the flagship festival in 2024. Held adjacent to the Tomorrowland festival grounds at Boom, Belgium’s Schorre Park, these boot camps will provide a full week of instructional sessions, networking and more.
