Tomorrowland’s newest stage, the Rise stage, will give 23 youngsters the chance to perform at one of the biggest festivals in the world.
Only one week remains until the 17th edition of Tomorrowland hosts 16 unique stages and one of the newest will feature young DJs aged 11-25 and give them a chance to showcase their skills.
Over the course of the two festival weekends, 23 performers from Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, the UAE, and Azerbaijan will be highlighted including AMA LIA, Bobby & Djenko, Britt BL, CHASE (Senne Put & Charel), DJ Daan, DJ Elfigo, DJ FLOw, DJ Michelle, and more.
The Rise stage is a collaboration with the Tomorrowland Academy, the Tomorrowland DJ and production school that organizes boot camps and workshops for both kids and adults to cultivate their musical and creative skills.
And while many of these kids can say they played on the Tomorrowland stage before they received their driver’s license, they aren’t younger than the nine-year-old, UK-based DJ Archie, who became the youngest performer at Glastonbury Festival last month.
For those hoping to watch sets from Tomorrowland weekend 1 (July 21-23) and weekend 2 (July 28-30), the official Tomorrowland website and Tomorrowland app will broadcast ten days of live music on One World TV.
