Ultra Sets Sights On Return To Taiwan This Fall

Ultra Taiwan

Ultra Worldwide has just dropped off the official dates for its return to Taiwan.

The global festival powerhouse will host the fourth edition of Ultra Taiwan on November 16 and 17 at Taipei’s Dajia Riverside Park, halfway around the world from Ultra’s flagship festival in Miami.

Lineups and ticket sale information will be announced at a later date. However, last year’s edition featured chart-topping headliners like Alesso, David Guetta, Gryffin and FISHER, as well as techno favorites like Adam Beyer, Anfisa Letyago, and Mathame, who performed on the festival’s famous RESISTANCE stage.

This year has seen Ultra continue to expand its reach in Asia. Following both main Ultra festivals and one-off “Road to Ultra” events in Korea and Bali in June, the brand will host four total events on the continent before the end of 2024, including a debut festival in Hong Kong and a return to Japan in September.

Plenty of other international dance promoters have followed suit, including Insomniac, which recently confirmed the rumor that they will be hosting an edition of EDC in Thailand next year in addition to EDC China’s return this fall.

Conversely, powerful Asian event brands like S2O Festival have broadened their own global reach. The Thailand-based festival, known as “the world’s wettest party,” launched its first event in New York City earlier this year, alongside an extensive run of continental events touching down in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and more.
