Avicii Tribute Week To Feature Unheard Sets, Exclusive Interviews

Legends never die.

On what would have been Avicii’s 31st birthday on September 8th, Sirius XM has announced a week-long celebration fit for the late dance music legend.

Starting on Tuesday September 8th, BPM Presents: “Avicii Birthday Tribute for Mental Health Awareness” during Suicide Prevention Week. By tuning in to Sirius XM channel 51, fans will hear a never-before heard Avicii set from Japan in 2016, exclusive interviews and more. What’s even better is that the celebration will benefit MusicCares and Vibrant Emotional Health. Vibrant supports mental health awareness by delivering services and emotional support.

Klas Bergling, Avicii’s father, will also be interviewed and will talk about Tim’s life and mission of the Tim Bergling Foundation, which is to prevent suicide and remove the stigma attached to mental illness.

Tim Bergling aka Avicii was one of the dance music legends that pioneered the EDM scene across the globe. He passed way on April 20, 2018 due to a suspected suicide. Avicii was very much involved in the community and dedicated much of his time to worthwhile causes like ending child sex trafficking.

For those interested in joining this celebration, you can sign up for Sirius XM here. They are even offering a free trial.
