Update: Trampled Ultra Security Guard Condition Improving

The Ultra security guard who was trampled Friday night after a swarm of attendees tramped her to get into Ultra Music Festival, is finally breathing on her own tonight. Erica Mack, the 28 year old injured CSG staff guard, suffered severe brain hemorrhaging after attendees swarmed her when they realized she was the only person blocking an entrance into the festival.

In a new interview with the Miami Herald, Mayor Tomas Regalado said she still “has a long road ahead of her” and is planning to use this incident to prevent Ultra Music Festival from returning to Miami. “I think we should not have Ultra next year here” Regalado said on Saturday, “This incident should never have happened.” Meanwhile, the Miami PD Homicide Unit is currently looking for witnesses of the incident and is asking anyone with information to come forward.

Ultra Music Festival ended Sunday night and has already announced it’s dates for next year, however the location may be in jeopardy following this weekend’s incident.

We continue to wish Ms. Mack a speedy recovery and will keep you updated with any information as it becomes available.
