Bass house became a part of the dance music zeitgeist just a few years ago, but its raw, unfiltered aesthetic has allowed a whole community of talented, innovative artists to rise along with it. Together, VRDGO are two of those artists, and their latest single, “LIKE THIS,” brings a fresh blast of electro to the ripping sound of bass house. “LIKE THIS” is the follow-up release to “Light it Up” on Tommie Sunshine’s label, Brooklyn Fire. The track charted number 1 on the Beatport Mainstage and Electro House chart for several days and was also supported by the incredible Timmy Trumpet.
VRDGO are a pair of brothers who grew up in Northern California where they promoted and headlined their own raves. Both parents were musicians and performers, so their natural ascent into their own careers is not surprising at all. In a short time they have been signed to Armada Music and Tiësto‘s Black Hole Recordings in addition to running their own label, Estilo Recordings.
