Watch gardenstate Perform Live From Fagradalsfjall Volcano in Iceland

For over a year now, the Anjunabeats duo, gardenstate, have been promoting their debut album INSPIRATIONS with a series of DJ sets filmed in extravagant locations. The video series shares a name with the album and the latest episode may be the most impressive yet.

For episode eight the American and Swedish producers traveled all the way to Iceland to perform in the shadow of Fagradalsfjall Volcano. Watch the set in full below

The video jumps around from the two sharing the decks to various scenes of the majestic, volatile mountain. There is footage of members of the team traversing the jagged hillsides as lava flows freely from the volcano’s crater. There are also many gorgeous daytime shots of various waterways and hills in the surrounding area.

The INSPIRATIONS videos began in studios with intricate lighting designs, but they have now expanded to places like New York and Guadalajara. After playing a set alongside an active volcano, the pressure is on for gardenstate to find an even more dangerous and picturesque location for the next one.
