William Black Unveils Emotional Collaboration With SLANDER, “Keep U Warm”

Colin Patrick

William Black and SLANDER have teamed up once again to release the emotional melodic bass ballad “Keep U Warm.” After the monstrous success of their previous collaboration “Back To U,” it was only right the two got back together to release another banger.

“Keep U Warm” explores the softer side of William Black and SLANDER as a declaration of love and sacrifice. “I’d set myself on fire, for you just to keep you warm” is the main tagline in the song.

While one should not literally set themselves on fire, this collaboration showcases the sacrifices one often makes while in love.

The backtrack has a soft melodic bass sound to it that feels nostalgic but modern at the same time with Jordan Shaw rounding out the track by providing powerful and soulful vocals to bring it to life.

Hailing from Denver, CO, William Black is no stranger to making bass music, as he has been releasing since 2018. While he has experimented with heavier bass, his emotional, uplifting ballads are his signature sound.

SLANDER helped put the finishing touches on “Keep U Warm,” to make it a perfect breather during their heavy live sets.
