World Pride Music Festival, the world’s largest LGBTQ+ pride celebration, is coming to Washington, D.C., this year.
Presented by Jake Reniscow’s Dreamland under license from global pride organizer network InterPride, the two-day music festival will arrive at D.C.’s RFK Festival Grounds on June 6-7, and celebrate the 50th anniversary of Capital Pride, the district’s foremost LGBTQ+ alliance.
World Pride Music Festival will feature over 60 performances across three unique stages, including pop icons like Jennifer Lopez, Troye Sivan, Kim Petras, MARINA, Rita Ora, Tinashe, and RAYE, and electronic stars like Galantis, Grimes, Purple Disco Machine, and Sofi Tukker, plus a special closing set from Zedd.
It wouldn’t be a party without drag icon RuPaul, who will play a DJ set, as will celebrity spinner Paris Hilton. Elsewhere on the lineup are top house and techno DJs, including Aluna, Dombresky’s Disco Dom project, LP Giobbi, and Patrick Mason, among others. Fans can also expect performances spanning circuit and drag, plus cutting-edge art installations and other immersive experiences. Check out the full lineup below.
In addition to live entertainment, the event will offer vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free food and beverage options, official artist and festival merchandise, brand experiences with special performances and giveaways, specialty cocktail lounges, and more.
D.C.’s WorldPride debut, an honor awarded to the city by InterPride in November 2022 following an extensive bidding process, will be over three years in the making once it comes to fruition next June, and the team behind the landmark event is a who’s-who of the United States’ most influential LGBTQ+ and allied party producers.
Reniscow’s Dreamland team brought the United States’ historic first World Pride event to New York City’s Javits Center in 2019—setting a new world record for the largest nightclub event ever. Their annual Dreamland Pride event is one of NYC’s biggest, taking over Central Park each June.
Joining Dreamland and the Capital Pride Alliance in producing World Pride D.C. will be Insomniac Events and Club GLOW. The two powerful dance music brands, which have shared a strategic partnership in the city since 2020, will ensure WorldPride’s production is top-notch at the RFK Festival Grounds, the same site where they collaboratively hold Project GLOW each year.
