Zeds Dead and Funkin Matt Unite With Groovy House Track “Levitate”

Canadian electronic duo Zeds Dead, comprised of Dylan Mamid and Zachary Rapp-Rovan, is set to make waves with their latest music venture: a collaboration with Norwegian record producer Funkin Matt, also known as Mats Ronander.

“Levitate,” is a funky house music track that drops today on Altered States, showcasing Zeds Dead’s ability to bounce around between genres.

Founded by Zeds Dead in 2021, Altered States is a boundary-pushing electronic music label that aims to transport listeners into different realms, awakening dreams and altered states of consciousness.

The label provides a platform for Zeds Dead and fellow artists to explore their house, techno, and downtempo interests that may not align with the iconic Deadbeats label.

“Levitate” is a significant addition to Altered States’ eclectic catalog, showcasing the genre-fluid sound of Zeds Dead and Funkin Matt in a spellbinding house composition. The track embodies the essence of Altered States’ vision, delivering a mesmerizing experience that transcends musical convention.
