Today, Zeds Dead have announced a monumental takeover of Virginia’s famous Hampton Coliseum, happening this spring.
The two-day event, taking place April 12-13, 2024, will mark the powerhouse bass duo’s first-ever performance at the legendary venue, and promises to be the largest Deadbeats event on the East Coast.
Collectively dubbed “First Contact,” both shows will be tailored specifically to the Hampton Coliseum with unique production that has been “intricately designed to complement the space.”
The event will offer a “one-of-a-kind experience” with specially curated lineups and two different Zeds Dead sets that stand alone from the group’s recently announced “Two Night Stand” tour.
Zeds Dead now join a collection of world-renowned artists like The Grateful Dead, Elton John, Beyoncé and more, who have played at the historic Hampton Coliseum since it first opened in 1962.
The venue has also become a hotspot for EDM in recent years, hosting curated events like GRiZ’s Space Camp, Ganja White Night’s Wobble Coliseum and Subtronics’ Cyclops Coliseum.
Leading the North American dubstep scene since 2009, Zeds Dead have continued to assert their dominance this year with performances at Bonnaroo, Shambhala, and Electric Forest, while continuing to support bass music’s rising stars by taking their acclaimed Deadbeats imprint on a nationwide tour.
Pre-sale for Zeds Dead’s “First Contact” at Hampton Coliseum will start Thursday, November 30, before general on-sale begins Friday, December 1. Fans can register for pre-sale access here.
