Zeds Dead Announce New Catalog-Spanning “Journey Of A Lifetime” Tour For 2026

Zeds Dead

Zeds Dead are hitting the road this year for the biggest headline tour of their career.

After alluding to a major upcoming move with several recent social media teasers, the famed bass duo today announced their “Journey of a Lifetime” tour, bringing a new career-spanning live show that celebrates the entirety of their 15-year catalog to 12 North American cities this summer and fall.

Following their annual headline stand at Colorado’s Red Rocks for Deadrocks XII on July 2-3, the show, named after one of their earliest tracks, rolls on to 15 more amphitheater and major market dates in Montreal, Toronto, New York City, Cleveland, Nashville, Miami, Austin, Dallas, Mesa, Vancouver, and Los Angeles through October 3, including two-night runs at the Mesa Amphitheatre and LA’s Grand Park.

Marking a “reflection point” in Zeds Dead’s genre-defying career journey, according to a press release, the show draws from the pair’s full catalog, from early MySpace releases and tracks from their Bassmentality era to the cinematic samples of their latest acclaimed album, Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness.

“Journey of a Lifetime is one of the first tracks we uploaded to the World Wide Web as Zeds Dead way back in 2009. 17 years later it feels like it was a prophecy,” Zeds Dead wrote on Instagram today. “We might have not realized it at the time but we were in fact blasting off into space and leaving behind life as we knew it. This journey is your journey with us as well. We’ve grown up together and celebrated life. We’ve created a world together and the Journey of a Lifetime tour aims to be our most thorough exploration of it.”

They also confirmed the tour will be the last chance for fans to catch them live before they take time off in 2027: “It will be the grand finale of everything we’ve been working on. It’s not the end though. To quote something we sampled in a beat once ‘Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.'”

Since emerging in Toronto’s underground scene with their weekly Bassmentality parties in 2009, producer-DJs Zachary Rapp-Rovan (AKA Hooks) and Dylan Mamid (AKA DC) have built one of electronic music’s most loyal fanbases with their community-focused approach to touring and curation, marked by innovative destination residencies like Deadrocks and the continued influence of their independent label, Deadbeats, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
