Halloween is one of my favorite holidays of the year. With haunted houses, Trick or Treaters, and themed events everywhere you look, there is no shortage of fun things to do. While many of us have outgrown Trick or Treating, there are still many reasons to get all dressed up for this year’s All Hallows’ Eve. People all over the country are getting geared up and ready for various Halloween-themed music festivals. While I had many choices of which festival to attend, I finally decided on the 6th installment of Disco Donnie’s: Something Wicked Festival with their new twisted theme, The Asylum.

This year’s Something Wicked lineup has something for everyone with a good mix of headbanging bass music and relaxing trance. The Something Wicked lineup is going to make me crazy and send me to The Asylum with performances from Above & Beyond, Borgeous, Claude Vonstroke, Cosmic Gate, MALAA, Marshmello, NGHTMRE, REZZ, RL Grime, Space Jesus, Tiësto, and Zeds Dead just to name a few. It’s all happening October 28th and 29th at the Sam Houston Race Park in Houston, TX. Something Wicked is the largest annual Halloween party in Texas, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned at every other Texas-based music festival I have attended, it is that Texas knows how to throw a party!

Texas has a surprisingly large art community, and a VERY creative festival scene with arts and music festivals like Austin City Limits, Euphoria, and South by Southwest (SXSW). This makes me very excited to see what amazing and creative costumes my Texas fam have in store for me. You can catch me both nights dancing my heart away in costume. Night one keep your eyes out for the PLURR Ninja as I slash through hatred and judgment with the swords of peace, love, and unity. The second night you can catch me running around in a rainbow tie-dye onesie as the Rainbow Traveler.

You can still get your two-day tickets to this epic event HERE!

Make sure to check out the full lineup HERE!

Pro tip: The day after Halloween is the BEST time of the year to go shopping for all your future rave costumes for super cheap!
