This Saturday, the acclaimed CONTACT Winter Music Festival is moving to new heights for an evening of dance music under the stars. Since 2013, CONTACT has grown into the largest indoor festival in Canada as part of a collaboration between Blueprint and Live Nation Canada. This time, renowned record label Monstercat (home to artists such as Kaskade and Marshmello) is joining the mix to produce an epic live-stream version of the festival from the rooftop of the iconic BC Place in Vancouver.
Sitting 204 ft. overlooking the Vancouver skyline, artists will take the stage on February 6th at 7PM PST via a Twitch broadcast. Each year, CONTACT welcomes approximately 34,000 guests to an exclusive indoor festival setting right in the middle of the snowy Canadian winter. With the festival grounds, fans are treated to sprawling dance floors, interactive stages, and state-of-the-art pyrotechnics. While this year looks a bit different due to coronavirus restrictions, festival producers are maintaining the high production standards that the festival is known for.
This year, several Vancouver local artists will be joining the lineup including Vanic, Tails B2B Juelz, Nostalgix, and Poni. The event is free to stream via Twitch with proceeds from exclusive CONTACT merchandise benefitting the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. With the prowess of Monstercat backing the live-stream event, fans can expect next-level production and more!
