Organizers Officially Cancel Ultra Music Festival 2021

For the second year in a row, Ultra Music Festival will not be opening its doors to Bay Front Park due to COVID-19. Earlier this year, Billboard disclosed that Ultra Music Festival was preparing to cancel their event and were seeking permit requests for 2022. The news was not confirmed until this past weekend when Ultra Music Festival publicly announced that this year’s event will be canceled due to COVID-19. The statement was released on Ultra’s social media pages:

Ultra Music Festivals rescheduled dates are for March 25-27 of 2022. The South Beach festival joins a list of other summer festivals that have had to cancel their 2021 event due to COVID-19. Coachella, Defqon.1, and now Ultra Music Festival are just a few of the summer festivals that have had to cancel their events due to the pandemic.

Meanwhile, Insomniac just announced that they will invade Florida on April 10 to host Abduction 2021: The Florida Invasion, at Lot 54 at The Vanguard in Orlando, Florida. Abduction 2021: The Florida Invasion, will be a single-day, reduced capacity, open-air event featuring 2 stages14+ artists, Xtra terrestrial art installations, and state-of-the-art production and lasers. The event will go from 5 PM-12 AM local time and tickets will go on sale starting this Thursday at 12 PM ET on Insomniac’s website.
