Daft Punk Orchestral Tribute Headed To Manchester Cathedral

A special Daft Punk orchestral tribute is set to take place at the iconic Manchester Cathedral this summer.

Last month, the electronic music community was shaken to its core after the announcement of Daft Punk’s breakup. The French duo did not give an in-depth explanation as to why, but many fans and music groups have been paying tribute to the iconic duo following the breakup, including Manchester-based orchestra, Kaleidoscope Orchestra. The Manchester-based orchestra announced that the group will be paying their respects to the electronic duo via a special orchestral tribute that will be held at the Manchester Cathedral in England.

The special performance will be socially distanced and will take place on August 20. Kaleidoscope Orchestra will perform two back-to-back candlelit performances, incorporating some of Daft Punk’s most beloved songs in orchestral fashion at the iconic Manchester Cathedral.

Tickets can be purchased here and will start at £55. Purchase tickets here.
