Ukrainian emotive techno duo, ARTBAT, will launch their own label called UPPERGROUND later this month. The title of the label is meant to represent the type of music they intend to put out. Music that exists outside of definitions like “commercial” or “underground,” and is instead focused on being high quality dance music fit for multiple environments.
The label will launch officially on August 27 with a new single from the duo entitled “Flame.” Read on to see what ARTBAT had to say about the new imprint:
“During the pandemic, we had enough time to work on new music and had our heads deep in the studio working on new ideas. Now we feel like we have the right tracks to be presented on our own label. Especially after a worldwide lockdown, we wanted to kick off with something fresh and new, filled with life, colour, spiritual uplift and emotion. Now feels like the exact right time to do so.”
