Berlin Will Open Indoor Clubs For People Who Are Fully Vaccinated Or Recovered From COVID-19

A new court order in Berlin will allow indoor dancing to resume for those who are fully vaccinated or have recently recovered from COVID-19. The order, which was passed last Friday, August 20, permits people who meet those criteria to enter clubs.

The order does not permit entry for those who can only provide a negative COVID test. Receiving one shot of vaccines that require two shots like Pfizer and Moderna will not permit entry either.

These updated restrictions came as a result of a venue owner in Berlin suing the German government. The government had previously lifted restrictions back in June to allow outdoor events to occur and rescind alcohol bans in venues.

With this most recent update, clubbing life is essentially back to normal in Berlin for fully vaccinated and COVID-recovered individuals.

Other countries around the world are also implementing similar guidelines. For example, US mega promoters Live Nation and AEG Presents will soon require attendees to be fully vaccinated to gain entry to their events.
