This past weekend, the master of progressive house, Eric Prydz, played two headlining sets for Factory 93 in Los Angeles, and all-star YouTuber, VictorVisits, caught all 150 minutes of the first set on video. His recording is far more than a blurred-out, shaky mess that rises and falls with the strain of his arm. It captures the supreme audiovisual experience that only Eric Prydz can provide.
Using nothing more than a GoPro and impressive editing skills, VictorVisits made a video that can very much live on the TV to provide the soundtrack for a house party. Planting himself at the center of the action, viewers can see the full range of production applied for the set. From the conjoined LED screens surrounding Prydz himself, to the lighting towers on the outer edges, to the gyrating dancers Insomniac employs at every one of their events.
VictorVisits has built his YouTube channel around filming huge DJs playing at some of the most notable events in the US. He captured Kaskade‘s latest set at SoFi Stadium, RÜFÜS DU SOL‘s live show at L.A. Historic Park, and Porter Robinson‘s Worlds performance at the first ever Second Sky among other unforgettable moments in dance music.
The common factor among all of them is the high quality visuals and sound that will make you feel like you’re really there.
