Since launching in 2018, Insomniac‘s Secret Project event series has attracted the more mature and intelligent side of dance music, featuring intricate lineups of global house and techno artists. Now, the revered event series is coming to Portugal for a full-on three-day experience: Secret Project Festival.
Other than the exciting new location for the event, this latest edition of Secret Project will add a wide variety of drum & bass artists alongside the hall of fame four-on-the-floor roster. Legends of the craft like Camo & Krooked, Wilkinson, and DJ Hype will have the crowd skanking until late in the evening with their frenetic broken beat selection.
Being Secret Project’s bread and butter, the house and techno for this new event cannot be touched. Many European mainstays like Kaluki boss Pirate Copy and the maestro himself Luciano will share the stage with Insomniac favorites like Adam Beyer, Nicole Moudaber, and Charlotte De Witte.
What’s especially notable about this event is how it will combine the crowds of two very distinct genres. Techno and drum & bass both have dedicated communities behind them, and this event will see them intermingle to the tunes of their favorite artists.
Sure some fans will remain at the drum & bass stage all day and night, but there will be a lot of cross-over as well. A great to chance to experience the full breadth of the European dance music scene.
