Matoma and A R I Z O N A Release “Heart So Big” For National Autism Awareness Month

Matoma & A R I Z O N A

Stepping off the judge panel from the Norwegian version of “The Voice”, DJ and producer Matoma recently collaborated with New Jersey trio, A R I Z O N A, to release their track “Heart So Big” on Friday, April 1, 2022. This track was written and inspired by longtime collaborator PJ Bianco as a love letter to his son with autism.

Matoma, who has garnered over 1 billion streams worldwide, and as Billboard hails him “a fresh collection of varied dance-pop compositions…heavy with feels from start to finish” exceeds our expectations in this collaboration with A R I Z O N A, incorporating their ingenious brand of contemporary electronic dance-pop with this uplifting beat, tempo and moving lyrics.

With such a heartfelt tribute, A R I Z O N A shares, “This song, along with the hopes of raising autism awareness, carries a special notion in general that we should remember to cherish and protect the ones we love in our lives.” Matoma shares, “PJ sent me this idea…and I immediately fell head over heels in love. This song was pure emotion. As we’ve been making these plans for release around National Autism Awareness Month, and we’ve been seeing the tragedies occurring in Ukraine, we really felt there is a wider message in this song – a message of celebrating the joys of love and humanity in all shapes and forms.”

The Norwegian DJ recently headlined Gravity Festival in partnership with Proximity, breaking livestream records and raising money for Red Cross’ ‘Ukraine Crisis Appeal’ as well as matching donations. Matoma expresses “hope that some of our initiatives around this release will make a positive change and spread love at a time when we all need it.”
