Tomorrowland 2022 is all set to take place in a little bit over a month and Charlotte de Witte will be making festival history as both the first female and the first techno artist to close the main stage.
The underground expert is slated to step up for her closing set on the Saturday of of the final festival weekend, July 30, 2022. De Witte is originally from Belgium, and her strong mindset and work ethic have brought her a long way from the early beginnings of playing in small venues in her hometown of Ghent over ten years ago.
Originally, De Witte went by the alias of ‘Raving George’ so that the audience listening would focus on her DJ skills instead of her gender. A pivotal moment in her music career was winning a Studio Brussels DJ contest back in 2011, which led her to perform her first festival at Tomorrowland in the same year. In 2015, the alias Raving George dropped and she started using her real name, and her career has exploded from there.
Check out the lineup for each weekend here. Tomorrowland 2022 will return for three weekends this July. Limited tickets will become available on June 7, 2022.
