NERO Remixes the new deadmau5 single, “XYZ”

The Grammy-award-winning British electronic trio, NERO, breaks another hiatus with an earth-shaking remix to deadmau5‘s track “XYZ,” kicking off the 11th year of the We Are Friends music series.

Known for dropping tracks that make history, the electronic trio which consists of Dan Stephens, Joe Ray, and Alana Watson, released their debut album “Welcome Reality” over 10 years ago.

NERO wasn’t the only act setting out to make history in 2012. In that same year, deadmau5 released We Are Friends vol. 1, a music series that features rising talent coming across his powerhouse record label Mau5trap.

Paying tribute to over 10 years of changing the electronic music world, deadmau5 announced back in April, the first-ever “We Are Friends” (WAF) tour with NERO as the special guest.

Last August while celebrating the 10th anniversary of “Welcome Reality” NERO took to social media to announce their third album was on the way. Since then electronic lovers have been waiting patiently for new NERO sounds and it is safe to say the trio put their own twist on deadmau5’s progressive house track “XYZ.”

Diving deeper into the meaning of feeling an electronic song move through you, NERO takes the 9- minute long track and creates a portal pulling people in creating a safe place for people to dance and get lost in their own energy.
