Printworks Reveals Hopeful Partnership With Officials To Potentially Return

Hope is not lost for iconic London venue Printworks as they released a statement that they are working with British Land to return to their venue in the future.

The statement claims that they are undergoing a detailed planning process and are positive about their future in London. They can confirm that Printworks will close in 2023 for a few years while the land is turned into other spaces, but will work closely with the planners to ensure the essence and spirit of the hall remains intact.

Just a few months ago, news broke that London’s Southwark Council had approved renovation plans that would close Printworks permanently while zoning the surrounding area for office buildings and retail locations.

But this statement brings a lot of hope for the future of the beloved venue that has hosted some of the most incredible international electronic music artists.

Their grand reopening, before closing their doors for a while, will be headlined by international powerhouse DJ Snake, followed by weeks of legendary artists like techno queen Charlotte de Witte, electronic pioneer Paul van Dyk, and DNB staple WilkinsonGorgon City will also play a can’t-miss five-hour set at the beginning of December.

The future of Printworks is uncertain, but it seems the organizers are more than dedicated to keeping the legacy alive.
