Young and upcoming talent Chan has dropped his sophomore album, Polygons, inspired by the music that both saved and changed his life.
The title, Polygons, was inspired by the quote, “the shape of my life is better than it ever has been.”
The whole album invokes 2013 EDM nostalgia, from the old-school Martin Garrix style “Babylon,” to the emotion-fueled “Up or Down,” and the anthem “Stay With Me.”
A new artist, he began producing in 2017, but did not release on streaming services until 2022. In 2021, he decided to become sober and put all of his energy into perfecting his sound.
He told EDM Maniac, “Music has not only changed my life, but it has also saved my life. I knew that this was my opportunity to release my music to the public, and I was ready for it…I hope to one day provide others with the same joy that music has provided me, I have been a huge fan of EDM ever since I was a kid, and I hope to shape the future of EDM music with my story and my sound!”
This is Chan’s second album, working on Polygons right after dropping Phoenix Rising in 2022. Since then, he’s furiously worked to improve himself and get his sound out into the world.
