Popular American airline JetBlue is officially jetting to Paris as they announced a new flight from New York to Paris taking off this year.
The direct flight service will begin June 29 and take off from John F. Kennedy International and Land at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport the following morning. The flight is cheekily numbered 1407 in honor of Bastille Day, which is celebrated on July 14.
To introduce the new flight service, JetBlue is offering round-trip fares that start at $479 for economy departures from New York, and fares from 399 euros for flights from Paris, if booked before March 9.
But JetBlue is actually fairly new to flights across the pond as in 2021, they introduced their first transatlantic direct flight from New York to London. Since then, they’ve added flights from Boston to both Heathrow and London Gatwick.
The Points Guy has predicted that their next international foray will be into Amsterdam. They claim that “JetBlue recently petitioned the U.S. Department of Transportation for help getting access to slots at the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS).”
