The legendary French electronic duo and icons of the bloghouse movement, Justice, will return with a new album and tour in 2024.
After a five-year hiatus, Justice will finally come back to the spotlight with their fourth studio album and the first since 2016’s Woman.
The founder of their label Ed Banger Records, Pedro Winter, confirmed the news during a video interview with radio station France Inter as a celebration of the imprint’s 20th anniversary, saying: “Is this a scoop? Maybe?”
He then went on to clearly state that Justice will have a new album and tour in 2024.
The most recent work from any of the artists was a solo album by Justice member Gaspard Augé in 2021 as well as several unreleased demos in 2022 including their 2007 classic “D.A.N.C.E.”
Last year, Justice celebrated 15 years since the release of their industry-shaking debut record † or “Cross”. The “opera disco” is best known for innovative sampling, eventually going on to land Grammy nominations for Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Dance Recording in 2008.
