EDM Maniac’s Favorite 2023 Festivals For This Year’s DJ Mag Top 100 Poll

DJ Mag’s Top 100 Festival Poll is almost complete and EDM Maniac is here to help you vote for your favorite festivals.

Every year, festival attendees anonymously vote in the DJ Mag poll for their favorite events based on elements like music, production, and organization.

Top 100 Festivals began as a DJ poll, asking artists and performers to pick their favorite festivals, but in 2022, it was opened to the public.

Voting for DJ Mag’s Top 100 Festivals closes on June 21 at 11:59PM BST, with the results set to be announced on July 27, 2023.

100,000 DJ Mag readers voted last year and as residents of the festival scene, here’s who we at EDM Maniac would vote for our DJ Mag Top 100 favorite festivals for 2023.

You can vote for your favorites here.

Tomorrowland

Everything about Tomorrowland is a cut above. From food offerings to production and even the cleanliness of the bathrooms. No detail is left to the side.

Tomorrowland is also the definition of bringing people together through music with attendees traveling from all corners of the earth to unite with the other People of Tomorrow.

The lineup is just as detailed, focusing on every genre from the regionally popular house and techno to Dutch favorite hardstyle, UK Drum & Bass, trance, big room, and everything in between.

Electric Forest

Electric Forest feels like home, that’s all we can say. From the community to the many random activities to explore, no Electric Forest experience is the same, from person to person and year to year.

Every year the lineup is top-notch with headliners from all genres. Some of this year’s include ODESZA, Jamie XX, Lane 8, Zeds Dead, ILLENIUM, Above & Beyond, and more.

Lost Lands

Lost Lands is dubstep Disneyland and a basshead mecca hosted by Excision annually. The dinosaur-themed event brings the biggest in bass but also has some of the best attendees in the game.

In 2023 attendees will headbang together in harmony to artists like Space Laces, Sullivan King, SVDDEN DEATH, and Subtronics.

Shambhala Music Festival

Shambhala is a spiritual journey of a festival with a focus on connecting to the earth and spirituality.

The four-day camping festival is held in British Columbia, Canada in the wilderness with over 100+ artists performing every year.

From John Summit, Zeds Dead, RL Grime, and GRiZ, to GoldieChase & Status, Liquid Stranger, and Of The Trees, there’s an artist for everyone.

Groove Cruise

Groove Cruise is one of the most unique and immersive experiences in music festivals. The floating five-star hotel experience is unlike any other with the 2024 ship featuring go-karts, laser tag, state-of-the-art production, exclusive artist activities, and unlimited food.

There’s also a layer of community giving to the festival via their Destination Donation program which donates school supplies, clothing, and other items needed for orphanages, schools, and/or local charities in the areas where they dock during the festivities.

Attendees then deliver the items directly to the children and spend time interacting with the locals via art projects, music, fun activities, facility repairs, and more. It’s a unique and truly transformative part of Groove Cruise.

Not to mention the seriously stacked headliners for Groove Cruise’s 20th anniversary sailing from January 24-28, 2024. Headlining are three of the current biggest artists on the planet: DiploTiesto, and John Summit, plus Aly & FilaCraig ConnellyGabriel & Dresden, Markus Schulz, Gene Farris, Joel CorryKyle Walker, and more.
