Shesaid.so Uplifts Women and Gender Non-Conforming People With 2023 ADE Programming

Today, shesaid.so, a global network for women, gender non-conforming people, and allies in the music industry, has revealed their full program for ADE Pro, the week-long industry conference that accompanies the busy event schedule of Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).

The focal point of the organization’s jam-packed ADE programming will be a day-long conference on Thursday, October 19, at their dedicated “shesaid.so space” at Amsterdam’s Lynk & Co.

To kick things off, Sizzer and Music Matters will invite established industry leaders in advertising to discuss what it’s like to hunt for the perfect track for a commercial.

The event will then apply topics from the discussion to a number of tracks written at this year’s Sizzer x Music Matters “Women+Writing Camp.”

The shesaid.so space programming will continue with a session on Meta Best Practices For Artists, hosted by Liz Miller from Meta‘s Artist Partnerships team.

An additional panel exploring challenges for vocalists in electronic music will be curated by House Gospel Choir (HGC) and feature input from Grammy-winning producer and DJ Louie Vega, singer-songwriter Kelli-Leigh, and HGC founder Natalie Maddix.

Finally, shesaid.so has invited its South Africa chapter to curate a discussion on empowering African DJs for global opportunities.

Speakers on this panel discussion will include Kenya’s Coco Em and South Africa’s DESIREE, who will also close out the shesaid.so space at ADE with two DJ sets during their final networking event.

Additional shesaid.so programming includes a private event for the organization’s “we.grow at ADE” mentorship program on Wednesday, October 18; a full day of music and experiences at Cosmopolitan’s Clubhouse on Saturday, October 21; and a mixer to celebrate the official relaunch of shesaid.so Amsterdam on Friday, October 20.

Complete information about all of shesaid.so’s 2023 ADE programming can be found here. All individuals will need an ADE Pro pass–available here–to attend.
