Four Tet Gives Update On New Album: “Very Close To Being Done And Will Come Out In 2024”

Last night, Four Tet checked in on Instagram to give fans an update on his forthcoming album.

Never one for frills, the production maestro—otherwise known as Kieran Hebden—shared a handful of messages via Instagram stories, the first of which simply read, “The next Four Tet album is very close to being done and will come out in 2024.”

This is big news, as the project will be his first full-length album in three years, following 2020’s Parallel, which included several songs initially shared under one of his famous oddball aliases, ⣎⡇ꉺლ༽இ•̛)ྀ◞ ༎ຶ ༽ৣৢ؞ৢ؞ؖ ꉺლ.

His next most recent LP, 871, came one day prior to Parallel under another quizzical moniker, 00110100 01010100.

The producer also added that a special live album from his May 2023 show at London’s Alexandra Palace will be released next Friday, November 3.

Fans have been patiently awaiting the release of what will be Four Tet’s 12th studio album ever since he announced the project back in April, with anticipation swelling even more after a busy summer of touring and collaborative productions with his friends Skrillex and Fred again...

This weekend, Four Tet will team up with California party hosts, The Do LaB, for a specially curated, open-to-close set at Daly City, California’s historic Cow Palace Arena, before featuring at Skrillex’s epic Warehouse Project event in Manchester next month.
