Michael Bibi has announced his forthcoming 2024 One Life world tour.
The tour will see the British house DJ and Solid Grooves label boss return to the stage for the first time since announcing that he is officially cancer free, after a six-month battle with CNS lymphoma, a rare form of cancer impacting the brain and spine.
Specific tour details, like show dates and locations, have yet to be announced. However, Bibi has shared that a percentage of proceeds from the One Life tour will be donated to various cancer charities, including the Foundation Trust of The Royal Marsden Hospital, where he received treatment.
“2024. A celebration of life. One Life, Live it,” Bibi wrote on Instagram yesterday alongside the tour announcement, which features the hashtags #fkcancer and #onelifetour.
Upon announcing his diagnosis in June 2023, Bibi would miss out on shows for the “foreseeable future,” including his label residency in Ibiza, but during a brief release from the hospital after completing the main portion of his treatment, Bibi surprised fans with an emotional return to the DC10 decks just in time for Solid Grooves’ closing party in September.
A few months later, in December, Bibi took to Instagram to share that his very public cancer fight was over, writing, “I’m still very tired, I’m on a lot of meds, my body hurts & my hairs all gone… but I’m excited to get home, process, heal & prepare for the future with you all.”
Fans can pre-register here to get first access to tickets and tour information as they become available.
