Rico Nasty And Boys Noize Drop “Arintintin,” Announce New EP

After teasing the red-hot collaboration at the beginning of February, trailblazing rapper Rico Nasty and high-octane producer Boys Noize have dropped their debut single, “Arintintin,” the first track off of their forthcoming crossover EP HARDC0RE DR3AMZ.

Dropping in with a rapidly thumping electro bassline and a high-energy, distortion-washed hook, “Arintintin” injects a hardcore punk edge into the Y2K aesthetic currently dominating dance music and hip-hop. Rico Nasty’s shout-a-long vocals add intensity and attitude to the club track, which rolls through a maze of speedy drops and builds.

Ripe with pent-up energy, “Arintintin” follows previous collaborations from Rico Nasty and Boys Noize on the rapper’s “Money” featuring Flo Milli and the producer’s “Girl Crush,” serving as further evidence of their genre-defying bond.

Already shown off to live crowds at exclusive events in Paris and Berlin, Rico Nasty and Boys Noize’s HARDC0RE DR3AMZ EP will arrive on March 29, 2024, diving deeper into the early 2000s hedonism found on “Arintintin.”

“We kept gravitating towards techno dance music,” Rico Nasty said of the upcoming project. “He [Boys Noize] started putting me on to German dance music, and we traded a bunch of songs back and forth. Little by little over a few days, we ended up making three more songs that we really loved and decided we wanted to share with the world. Every session was so much fun and I’m sure that energy is felt across all of these tracks.”

After breaking through with independent projects like 2017’s Sugar Trap 2, Rico Nasty has continued to shake up hip-hop with critically acclaimed works such as Nasty, Anger Management, and her 2020 full-length debut Nightmare Vacation. She has also collaborated with Doja Cat on “Tia Tamera” and the late XXXTENTACION on “#PROUDCATOWNERREMIX.”

From monumental B2B sets with Solomun and VTSS to productions for stars like A$AP Rocky and Frank Ocean and his iconic Dog Blood project with Skrillex, Boys Noize’s transcendent work has made him a dance music legend in his home country of Germany and beyond.
