John Summit is heading back to Chicago for a two-night run of hometown shows this fall.
The house and techno favorite will headline the city’s Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, famous for its lakeshore location and skyline views, on Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12, 2024.
“CHICAGO!! im coming back to my hometown w a massive two night run at one of the most beautiful venues in the city,” Summit wrote on Instagram yesterday.
Summit will be joined by a roster of to-be-announced supporting acts at the “& friends”-billed show, collaboratively produced by leading Windy City dance promoter Auris Presents and Summit’s own Experts Only label and event series.
The Chicago gig will serve as an emphatic closing to the artist’s busy summer touring schedule, which continues at Electric Forest next weekend—performing solo and B2B with Dom Dolla—ahead of further landmark shows at Madison Square Garden, PAROOKAVILLE, Sonus Festival, Creamfields, The Gorge Amphitheatre, Ushuaïa Ibiza, and more.
Last month, Summit announced that his highly anticipated debut album, Comfort In Chaos, will be released on July 12, via Experts Only. The album, which Summit calls his “most introspective work to date,” will feature previously released singles “EAT THE BASS,” “Shiver” with Hayla, and “Go Back” with Sub Focus and Julia Church, among other new tracks.
Pre-sale registration for Experts Only presents John Summit & Friends Chicago is now open here. Pre-sale ticket access will begin tomorrow, Thursday, June 13 at 10AM CT. General on-sale will follow on Friday, June 14 at 10AM CT.
