Sammy Virji has just announced a 10-date combined UK and North American tour beginning this fall.
After crossing the pond for a debut North American headline run this past winter, the UK garage and bassline don will up the ante for round two, playing venues with capacities at least triple the size of the clubs on his last tour.
The stateside dates on Virji’s fall tour will feature special 360-degree performances from the “If U Need It” and “Shella Verse” producer, opening with a show at Washington, D.C.’s A.i. Warehouse on September 27.
He’ll then jet back and forth across the Atlantic for the remaining dates, which run through Bristol, Nottingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle and Cardiff in the UK and Toronto and New York City in the U.S., before the tour officially comes to a close at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on December 6. Additional U.S. tour stops will be announced in the coming months.
Last month, Virji and Chris Lake teamed up to release their collaborative single, “Summertime Blues,” on Lake’s Black Book Records. The track, which features vocals from The Boxer Rebellion frontman Nathan Nicholson, marked Virji’s third release of 2024, following “Moonlight” and his lauded remix of Hamdi’s “Counting.”
Having just wrapped up huge sets at UK festivals like AVA Festival and Parklife, Virji’s anticipated 2024 festival run will continue at Electric Forest this weekend, ahead of further landmark appearances at Hideout, Creamfields, ARC, and more later this summer. He’s also slated to play Tennessee’s famous subterranean venue, The Caverns, next month.
Pre-sale registration for Sammy Virji’s 2024 UK and North American tour is now open here. Pre-sale ticket access will begin this Thursday, June 20 at 10AM local time. General on-sale will follow this Friday, June 21 at 10AM local time.
