Tomorrowland Will Be A Two Weekend Festival Until 2033

Arguably one of the biggest festivals in the world, Tomorrowland, just got bigger.

The festival has just signed a contract with the province of Antwerp, where it takes place annually in the city of Boom, stating that the festival is allowed to take place across two weekends per year until 2033.

The contract is not set in stone and will be reviewed annually to ensure the festival still meets and stays within the conditions listed in the contract. Boom Mayor Jeroen Baert stated:

“The contract is conditional and can be canceled. It will be evaluated every year and checked if the conditions are respected regarding its nuisance, mobility and security. If that not the case, the contract can be terminated with a year’s notice.”

Back in 2014, Tomorrowland took place over two weekends to celebrate its 10 year anniversary. They decided to bring the festival back this year for two weekends as well. The first weekend will take place July 21-23 and the second weekend will be on July 28-30 in Boom, Belgium.

With its popularity and ability to attract people from all over the world, they probably aren’t going to slow down anytime soon.
