Big news out today regarding future Live Nation events.
Effective immediately, all Live Nation events will have “Enhanced Security Procedures.” Live Nation is one of the biggest event promoters in the world, and said procedures are likely a result of the recent bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, UK.
According to The Festive Owl Facebook page and Sasquatch Festival Facebook page, events are being subjected to heightened security procedures including, “no bags or backpacks will be permitted into the venue except for small personal bags,” the use of CCTV, and more.
Sasquatch Music Festival goes down this Memorial Day weekend and is also advising attendees to expect delays while entering the venue.
While there is currently no word from any other Live Nation events (like Electric Daisy Carnival) about any specific enhancements, if the procedure remains in place, you can be assured that you’ll hear about it on social media.
