Fresh off the heels of his explosive Atmosphere tour and a few gigs around the world, Kaskade told us today via Twitter that he’s about to start work on a movie soundtrack.
You might remember from earlier this year when DJ/producer Zedd announced he would be the scoring a key scene for the flick “The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones” currently in theaters. A notable accomplishment for anyone in the EDM community.
So while Kasakde didn’t go into too much detail, we’re super excited to hear what he’s going to come up with. It’s been an amazing year for Kaskade — having won the Pioneer DJ of the year award, to his summer residency at Marquee Day and Nightclub, to a new album and tour, Kaskade continues to exemplify his versatility as a DJ/producer and shows his willingness to try something new.

So I don't think I am allowed to say the name of the movie yet… and since I am the new guy on the job I don't want to screw up.
