Zeds Dead, Subtronics, and Tape B have unleashed their awaited collaborative single, “Word Scramble.”

Released today via Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats, the rare link-up merges the distinct creative identities of three of bass music’s most influential names in a pummeling time capsule of the present scene’s most boundary-pushing sounds.

Instantly recognizable by the scrambled shoutouts to its trio of producers that appear before the beat drops into pulsing low-end, the track’s raw dubstep textures, spacey breaks, and high-stepping kick-snare rhythms have been the talk of the bass scene since its debut during their New Year’s Eve B3B at Decadence Colorado.

Now, after months of online hype and mystery as to whether it would ever get an official release, “Word Scramble” arrives in full form as each of its authors gears up for yet another ascendant summer cycle.

In addition to celebrating 10 years of their influential independent label, Zeds Dead are set to embark on the largest headline tour of their 15-year career this summer. Launching his annual festival run, Subtronics is slated to bring a custom show to both weekends of Coachella next month, while Tape B is preparing for a lengthy North American amphitheater tour with fellow bass favorites Levity this summer.
