What a feat: More than 100,000 fans experienced Electric Daisy Carnival Mexico this past weekend. The second annual EDC Mexico broke last year’s attendance record. More than 70 of the world’s biggest and best DJ’s provided the talent. The crowds were also treated to six carnival rides, including Insomniac’s giant ferris wheel, a totem making station, swing set and photo booths.
Insomniac pulled out all of the stops for our friends south of the border.
Those who attended were also part of history, as Insomniac used their Kinetic Cathedral Stage – the same one that was at EDC Las Vegas. The giant stage stands at 90 feet tall and 240 feet wide. This is the largest stage ever built for EDC Mexico and the first time the stage has been built outside of the United States.
Insomniac is gearing up for their next major festival, Beyond Wonderland. It will be held at the San Manuel Amphitheatre and Grounds on March 20th and 21st. Tickets are still available.
