Bananas, champagne and more bananas. Yes, it’s almost time for the second installment of Dada Life’s “The Voyage.” This year, history will be made at the party. More on that in a bit.
The Voyage returns to San Manuel Amphitheatre in San Bernardino on July 18th. This is a short drive from LA, so you really don’t have an excuse for not making it there.
The Voyage is a party like no other. Set to perform this year: 12th Planet, 3LAU, Bixel Boys, Party Favor, Ookay, Wuki and Dada Life. Just like last year, the Swedish duo will play two sets, so you can get a double dose of Dada!
Dada Life hopes to break the world record for most people in banana suits in one place. The current record is just over 400 people. I would wager money that you’ll see over 400 people in banana suits at The Voyage. Oh, if you are looking for a banana suit – you can find them online for under $40. Amazon currently has a bunch of banana suits for sale – just be sure to get express shipping so they arrive on time!
Dada Life encourages happy violence. Their fans smashed the world record for the largest pillow fight in Chicago when the Dada Land rolled into town back in 2013.
If you are planning on attending The Voyage, be sure to get a camping pass. This is the easiest way to enjoy the weekend. You can arrive Saturday, set up camp alongside your car and have direct access to the venue. There are bathrooms with electricity, photobooths, general store, arts & crafts, silent disco and water slides! Be sure to bring your bathing suit! Oh, the boys of Dada Life will also be cooking up a BBQ feast for all you campers! There will also be banana tossing and champagne spraying contests.
