ADE Lab, Amsterdam Dance Event’s new education and up-and-coming talent platform, just announced the participation of several internationally renowned artists.
The speakers include Carl Cox discussing his first album in ten years and his move to live sets, Oliver Heldens on balancing two projects (his own name and alias HI-LO), and a live edition of Scuba’s “Not a Diving” Podcast with Ellen Allien. Also included are workshops such as manipulating sound with deep house pioneer Kerri Chandler and a vinyl DJing class with Van Anh.
The program also offers masterclasses with labels and promoters like ID&T, Armada Music, and KNTXT, where they take aspiring industry professionals behind the scenes of their day-to-day operations.
Similarly, global companies Spotify, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, and Beatstars will guide newcomers through the world of streaming and music ownership.
There is also a large ADE Demolition contest hosted by Dave Clarke, where producers can win a large prize pack for their demo, in collaboration with VIRPP.
ADE Lab takes place from October 19-22 at Brakke Grond and tickets can be found here.
