International heavyweight R3HAB has recruited his fellow Spotify Top 250 artist Alan Walker to put a fresh spin on R3HAB’s huge hit “Around The World.”
To celebrate over half a billion streams on Spotify, R3HAB and Alan Walker have joined forces to rework one of the biggest tracks of 2021. Walker’s remix honors the original’s disco influence while layering in his signature euphoric melodies and an energetic breakdown.
R3HAB said about the remix, “My single ‘All Around The World’ recently racked up half a billion streams on Spotify. This is an incredible milestone in my career, and I’m extremely grateful. To celebrate, I’ve asked Alan Walker to work on a new version. Alan is a pioneer, and I’m glad that I trusted him with this as he came up with a refreshing and surprising take. I hope both our fans will like this new approach and will celebrate with us all around the world.”
“All Around The World” is one of R3HAB’s biggest singles, collecting over 8 billion streams to date across all platforms, including 1.1 billion in 2021 alone.
This is R3HAB and Walker’s second time working together, following R3HAB’s remix of Walker’s 2021 hit “Fake A Smile.”
But Alan Walker is a hit maker in his own right with his 2015 track “Faded” reaching over 1.5 billion streams on Spotify and becoming an anthem for ravers everywhere.
