Area 217 Festival Takes Over Old Air Force Base in France

A massive music festival will be held on an old air force base.

Area 217 Festival will be held at the Bretigny-sur-Orge base in France on  June 30-July 2. More than 100 artists from around the world will be there representing a wide variety of dance genres: house, techno, trance, bass, chill and many other styles.

Capacity is set at 30,000 for the 3-day festival that includes a camping option. Partying on the tarmac of the old military base sounds pretty wild.

Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Grandtheft, Delty Heavy and more are on the lineup.
