According to Sweden’s daily newspaper Dagens Nyheter, there will be an Avicii memorial site that will be constructed in the Östermalm district of Stockholm to pay tribute to the deceased legend.
Östermalm’s district-committee chairwoman Andréa Hedin, believes that constructing the Avicii memorial site close to where Tim grew up and attended school would be the best place. Tim’s father, Klas Bergling, agreed on Andréa Hedin’s input in regards to the memorial site being constructed in the Östermalm district of Stockholm. Klas Bergling founded the Tim Bergling Foundation after Tim’s death, which focuses on mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Visit the Tim Bergling Foundation for more information.
Currently, the Östermalm district of Stockholm does not have an opening date for the memorial.
