Bristol’s up-and-coming bass music powerhouse Alexander Joyce, aka Axel Boy, is making new groundbreaking moves in the UK dance music community.
While he’s already made a name for himself in the UK’s underground bass scene, Joyce now dives into the world of Drum and Bass through his debut release “Oxygen” with Viper Recordings.
This is an exciting development for Joyce as Viper Recordings is renowned for promoting chart-topping artists, a legacy it upholds since emerging in the EDM scene two decades ago.
Joyce’s new track “Oxygen” features award-winning vocalist Ruth Royall, another Bristol artist who is also making her presence known in the drum and bass world.
Together, Joyce and Royal produce a vibrant and energizing cut that brilliantly showcases the two artists’ talent. Joyce’s signature aggressive yet uplifting bassline merges with Royall’s smooth vocals creating a fresh take on the dnb genre’s evolving sound.
