‘Baby Raves’ Are Officially A Thing In California

Ahh, California. What a great state we live in. Tons of beautiful landmarks, yoga studios, DJs, and the home of some of the world’s best dance clubs. But the fun isn’t just for adults anymore.

An Oakland-based dance party for toddlers is a new Sunday morning dance rave for toddlers. Yes, it’s a Baby Rave.

“The idea of Baby Rave is an opportunity for parents to just have fun with their toddlers,” says organizer Nina Meehan, executive director of Bay Area Children’s Theater,  where Baby Rave is held. There are music and games and both the toddlers and their parents join in on the fun at 10 am. So if you’re just coming from the club and want to keep the party going, whilst still handling your responsibilities as a parent, this might be for you. And what better way to introduce your little one to dance music culture. 

Entry to Baby Rave is $7 for adults and children over the age of one. All raves are currently sold out through April 2020, but more tickets will open on May 1, 2020. You can learn more about Baby Rave Oakland below.
