Legendary techno club Berghain has unveiled the top-tier lineups for its Christmas Day and 18th birthday celebrations.
The birthday celebrations will take place December 10 with a host of incredible artists like a live set from Terence Fixmer and DJ sets from Francois X, Steffi, Surgeon, Ben Klock, Boris, and Josey Rebelle. They will be joined by Miss Kittin & The Hacker live, Âme, Fred P, Lakuti, nd_baumecker, Tama Sumo, Virginia, and AGY3NA.
Berghain has been at the same location in Kreuzberg for 18 years and will mark this career milestone with a huge event.
Christmas Day will also be legendary with David Elimelech, Marie Montexier, Partok, and Roi Perez.
The venue will then close until December 30 and run straight to January 2 for New Years’ festivities, but the lineup has not yet been confirmed.
Just this past month, Berghain’s in-house DJ agency, Ostgut Booking, shut down making many worry for the future of the iconic Berlin techno space. But Berghain seems to be on its regular schedule until at least the beginning of 2023, hopefully bringing more clarity for its future.
